Glo Extensions started with a passion for helping women feel confident in their hair and a belief that hair extensions could be so much more than a beauty trend.
When Heather Occhionero began working behind the chair, she quickly discovered that hair extensions had the power to create transformations that traditional salon services often could not. Extensions could add fullness to fine hair, create dramatic length, restore confidence after hair loss, and help women achieve hair they had spent years trying to grow on their own.
The more she worked with extensions, the more she realized they weren't simply another salon service. They were becoming her specialty.
Building a Business Around Expertise
Like many salon owners, Heather started small.
In 2011 she had her own little 10x10 booth rental hair salon called “My Elite Beauty” which eventually grew through referrals, repeat clients, and a reputation for creating natural-looking results.
As demand increased, so did Heather's commitment to education. She invested in advanced training, studied the industry's leading extension methods, and decided to set some big goals. She hired staff then re-branded the salon to “Glo Extensions.”
Today, Glo Extensions Denver focuses almost exclusively on human hair extensions and the services that support them.

Designed with the same focus on quality, color matching, and natural-looking results that define every Glo service, Seventh Heaven provides an option for clients seeking beautiful hair without the commitment of a permanent extension installation.
Today, Glo offers both long-term extension solutions and removable clip-in options, allowing clients to choose the approach that best fits their lifestyle and goals.

While Heather is the extension specialist behind every consultation and transformation, much of Glo's growth over the years has been a team effort shared with her husband, Tim.
With a background in marketing, media, and business development, Tim has played an important role behind the scenes, helping build the brand, grow the business, and support Glo's mission of helping women feel confident in their hair.
Together, Heather and Tim transformed a small booth-rental business into one of Denver's most specialized hair extension salons. While Heather focuses on serving clients and perfecting her craft, Tim continues to support the business through marketing, technology, and day-to-day operations.
Their shared commitment to excellence, education, and client care remains at the heart of everything Glo does today.
